A splendid example of early 20th century Japanese pottery identifying the influence of the art nouveau movement, of the time. This massive palace size vase is designed with a floral fantasy motif of daisies, chrysanthemums, vines & berries. This floral pattern dramatically accents the neck of the vase while earth tone scrolled waves effectively balance the lower portion of the vase. This treasure is in excellent unrestored condition, without imperfections & is signed with an embossed seal on the base.
