Secession Style Planter

A vintage, circa 1910, Austrian jardinaire & pedestal. This unit has classic Secession style building blocks; the pedestal with four columnar legs descending to a platform base & the planter featuring four impressive square shaped medallions. Each decorated with an iridescent purple/violet painted panel., The pottery has a wonderful arts & crafts textured surface executed in a sea foam green color accenting the medallions., The overall condition of the piece is good, displaying vibrant colors. Only crazing/hairlines on the interior of the planter gives its age away.
