Vintage Empire Bronze & Marble Clock with Father Time

Description

This vintage sculpted bronze & marble clock dates from the mid 19th century (Empire period). It is elaborately decorated with an exceptional depiction of “Father Time” sailing through time in a boat rowed by a nude companion. The bronze features rich patination with stunning gold ore’ accents. It is mounted upon a footed veined green platform with sculpted ornamentation. The clock face is white enamel with Roman numerals. It is in working condition.
