Vintage French Gambling Box

A vintage (late 1880’s) French gambling chip box designed with a decorative inlaid marquetry of pipes, cards, wine goblets, basket of biscuits & a tall ewer. This French polished box has four individual removable trays. These four trays contain hand painted ivory gambling markers. Each tray contains a set of these markers with a different color design. The box is made of rich walnut wood with a key lock. The key is missing.
