Art Nouveau Period Vanity Tray

Description

This fine, circa 1900, example of a porcelain vanity tray is from the Crown Derby Company of Derby, England. It is designed in an Art Nouveau theme & features a Much-like female with flowing hair as a center medallion. The tray is hand painted with iridescent lavender & lilac colors. These colors are highlighted by raised gold florals that reflect brilliantly in the light & surround the outer border & pierced handles. This is a beautiful Art Nouveau accent piece in excellent original condition.
