Art Nouveau Silver over Pewter Charger by WMF

Description

This wonderful early 20th century silver plate over pewter charger was produced by the legendary WMF company of Germany. A stunning profile of a woman with long flowing hair occupies a substantial center medallion with a decorative leaf & berry pattern surround extends to the outer rim. The reverse of the piece reveals an attached hook.
