Vintage French Bronze Palace Size Mantel Clock

This fabulous French mid 19th century palace size mantel clock is elaborately designed with two detailed sculpted bronze figures. The decorative dore’ bronze clock face is showcased between these dark patinated figures. The figures, a satyr & a wood nymph are depicted paying homage with garlands of grapes to the bust of Bacchus. The stylish clock face is highlighted with circular white enamel discs containing Roman numerals. The clock, itself, is festooned with beautiful floral garlands, scrolls, grape vines and forrest tribute. The clock has a key wind movement & French bell.
